A federal judge in Texas has blocked efforts to halt renewals under the DACA program protecting undocumented immigrants who were brought to the US as children. The move means efforts to end the DACA program are pretty much over for this year, as other lawsuits move through the pipeline. It also means dreamers whose 2-year DACA protections are about to end can apply for another 2 years of work permits and protections from deportation.
