More than 150 Hertz car shuttlers at SFO Airport are fighting layoffs and labor violations by the rental car company. The majority in the low paying job, which shuttles cars around the rental area, are immigrant workers and some have worked for the company for over 20 years. SF Supervisors Jane Kim and John Avalos joined more than 50 demonstrators with the Dignity for Hertz Car Shuttlers Coalition at a rally at Hertz SFO office to demand they rescind the planned layoffs next week.
