Federal Report Finds Bias in SF Police

A new report from the federal Department of Justice levels some blistering criticisms of the San Francisco Police Department. Among the findings, racial disparities in police stops, poor investigations and follow-up on police use of force, and lax record-keeping on citizen complaints. City officials say they’re committed to implementing the report’s 272 recommendations for change.
