SF Takes Another Look at AirBnB Laws

A bill aimed at bringing accountability to online rental platforms such as AirBnB who help individuals violate San Francisco’s landmark short term rental law passed out of committee on its way to the full board today. The changes to the cities regulations have brought together tenants, landlords, labor unions, and hotel management who all seek to curb the political influence of tech companies like AirBnb. Pacifica’s Mike Kohn reports from San Francisco City Hall.
