Philip Levine, bard of workers and beloved Fresno State Prof. dies at 87



Phillip Levine, the great poet of American industrial workers and the poet laureate of the United states in 2011 and 2012 died in Fresno February 14 at age 87.
He was an emeritus professor of English at California State University, Fresno, where he had taught from 1958 to 1992. Tom Herriman has more. (Photo, Phillip Levine addressing a group of union organizers in 2012.)
