State Water Board Hears Divergent Opinions over Delta Flows

As California heads into what could be another historically dry year, disputes over water allocation are becoming more passionate. The State Water Resources Control Board heard sharply divergent views of its management strategy at a workshop held Wednesday in Sacramento. Groups representing both Delta and San Joaquin Valley interests rallied around their respective positions on a decision the board had made concerning the management of water flows into and out of the Bay Delta estuary.
