A Sacramento resident has filed suit against the Sheriff of Sacramento for keeping him in jail on an “immigration hold” at the request of federal immigration officials. The lawsuit says the immigration hold violates constitutional protections as well as California’s “Trust Act”. Christopher Martinez reports.
