Community Responds to District Attorney's Decision On Andy Lopez Case

Community members are protesting the Sonoma County District Attorney’s decision not to file criminal charges against the Deputy Sheriff who killed 13 year old Andy Lopez in Santa Rosa last year. District Attorney Jill Ravitch released a summary of her investigative report on Monday, stating that Deputy Erick Gelhaus actions’ were justified because he believed he was in life threatening danger when he mistook Lopez’s airsoft BB gun for an AK 47 rifle. Marissa Ortega-Welch reports from Santa Rosa.
