Closure of Recycling Centers in San Francisco Means Hard Times for the City's Poor



San Francisco is losing it's beverage container recycling centers. The San Francisco Board of Supervisors Neighborhood Services and Safety Committee held a hearing today to discuss the issue. Environmental advocates say the closure of recycling centers across the city in recent years puts a damper on San Fransisco's zero waste policy and will affect the city's homeless population and the working poor.
