Activists Urge City Officials to Help Reduce LGBT Homelessness in San Francisco



San Francisco’s gay and lesbian community is disproportionately represented in the city's homeless population. A 2013 study found that almost thirty percent of homeless people in San Francisco identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors Budget and Finance Committee held a hearing today to discuss the impact of the findings. Nick St. Charles filed this report.
