Two fractured wrists and a concussion -- those were the injuries Otto Pippenger suffered at the hands of police during a protest at City College of San Francisco – or CCSF – in March. Pippenger and another student announced today they filed claims against the city, county and the community college district alleging police officer misconduct. The students were protesting the appointment of a special trustee in response to a proposal to terminate CCSF's accreditation. Nick St. Charles filed this report.
