The trial of two former Fullerton police officers accused in a violent and ultimately deadly beating of a transient began this morning in Santa Ana. It’s the first time law enforcement officers in Orange County have been put on trial for murder. The case is being televised internationally and is expected to wrap up in January, 2014.
