Oakland Mayor Quan and local businesses say they understand why citizens are angry, but denounce the vandalism that occurred during Saturday night’s protest. Scores of demonstrators marched from Frank Ogawa Plaza through Downtown Oakland after George Zimmerman was found not guilty for shooting and killing unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin in Florida last year.
