17 people were arrested in downtown Los Angeles last night during a popular art walk. The monthly event draws thousands of people into downtown galleries, restaurants and bars. Members of Occupy LA sponsored a chalking event that they say was meant to raise awareness of what it called police suppression of the activist movement.
