All Los Angeles Pot Shops Ordered Closed

The Los Angeles City Council voted to shut down all of the medical marijuana dispensaries operating in the city. Council member Jose Huizar, who authored the ban, said the California Supreme Court issued a decision that forbade municipalities from regulating pot shops. He successfully argued that it was in the city’s best interest to close more than 600 dispensaries. Pacifica KPFK’s Ernesto Arce files this report from Los Angeles.
