California Reacts to SCOTUS on Affordable Care Act

Patients, care providers and many elected officials across California celebrated the Supreme Court's decision to uphold key provisions of the Affordable Care Act. Pacifica's Dan Fritz files this report on how patients and care providers in Los Angeles reacted to the decision, as well as how advocates and state officials are moving ahead in the era of the Individual Mandate. Correction: This story mistakenly calls Medi-Cal California's implementation of Medicare. Medi-Cal is California's implementation of Medicaid, a federal program that provides health coverage to the poor.
