LAPD Defends 90 Gunshots That Killed Freeway Chase Suspect

Los Angeles police department officials are defending the actions of officers who shot a 19 year-old unarmed man more than 90 times after a high-speed freeway chase. Abdul Arian reportedly called 9-1-1 during the pursuit and told an operator that he was terrified of officers. After stopping his car on the 101 freeway, he turned to police in what one officer described as a shooting stance. Eight officers opened fire, killing the young man. Ernesto Arce has more from Los Angeles.
