One of the most high-profile congressional races in the 2018 election is California’s 22nd District held by Republican Devin Nunes since 2003. Democrats are trying to win more seats in the house and are putting up a strong fight to take Nunes seat. Andrew Janz, a Fresno County Deputy District Attorney, is the stiffest challenge yet in a district Nunes has won by big margins. Nunes is well-known as Chair of the House Intelligence Committee, using that position to protect Trump in the Russian election meddling investigation-an issue that could work for and against him, even in a Republican district. Janz campaign has gained national notoriety, making it one of the most well-funded in the country. Vic Bedoian reports from Fresno.
