California could be moving toward using 100% green energy by the year 2045. Under a new bill by democratic state senate leader Kevin De Leon, California would ramp up its targets for transitioning away from fossil fuels. It’s another step in the state’s moves to address climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
