In an effort to increase their numbers in the House of Representatives, Democrats are focusing on several districts in California. Two of those targeted districts are in the San Joaquin Valley. Both House seats have been held by Republicans, even though the districts have Democrat majorities and substantial Latino populations. But this year those races are considered in play. The candidacy of Donald Trump along with the vast Democratic margin in the state may have an impact on down ballot elections in seats previously considered safe. National Democrats are boosting their efforts to help local challengers. Vic Bedoian reports from Fresno.
