Project Homeless Connect hosted an event in San Francisco, specifically to address the need of LGBTQ individuals, who the group says make up almost one third of the City's homeless. The organization hosts many events throughout the year so people can access critical services in one location, including medical services, dental and visual care, haircuts and DMV IDs.
