California Legislators joined activists and church leaders this morning in refusing to eat for 24 hours. Democratic Assembly members Lorena Gonzalez of San Diego and Bob Bonta from Alameda County are both hoping to convince on their colleagues to pass a bill to granting agricultural workers the types of wages, hours, and work conditions already guaranteed for most Californians.
