With the school year back in session, teachers and students from around the San Francisco Bay Area Gathered in front of one of San Francisco’s pubic schools today to launch the local campaign for proposition 55. The ballot measure hopes to save the state from 4 billion dollars worth of funding cuts to schools by extending the current income tax on residents making over two hundred fifty thousand dollars a year.
