Last week's killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile put public attention back on the violence committed against people of color in this country. But for many Americans, gun violence is nothing new – in the Bay Area, community members, faith leaders, and policy advocates have been working on solutions to end gun violence for years. Activists gathered at a panel Tuesday night to discuss “lifesaving solutions to the urban gun violence epidemic.” Pacifica's Paulina Velasco reports.
