A raft of gun control bills continues to move forward in the state legislature, with an increased sense of urgency now in the wake of the Orlando Florida mass shooting. The measures include bills to ban high-capacity ammunition magazines, and to close a loophole in California’s assault weapons ban. The debate in legislative committees grew heated, with passionate arguments from both pro and con lawmakers, mostly along party lines. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
