Nurses Protest Laguna Honda Hospital Under-staffing

Hospital workers rallied outside Laguna Honda Hospital during their lunch break today, to protest what they charge is serious under-staffing. Across San Francisco, public health workers say they are unable to fulfill their promise to provide quality, "patient centered care" because of politics. At Laguna Honda, which serves mostly seniors, low-income, disabled patients, demonstrators said patient safety is at risk.
