Community Clinics Lobby for More Health Care Access

Community health clinic advocates from across California gathered at the state capitol for a day of lobbying to push for legislation to improve access to health care. They’re looking at measures to boost funding for services like mental health, and to deal with a shortage of primary care doctors. They’re also vowing to keep up the fight for a tax on sugar-sweetened beverages linked to diabetes and obesity. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
