State lawmakers have taken a step toward opening California’s Obamacare health program to undocumented immigrants. The Assembly Health Committee has approved a measure asking for a federal waiver that would let undocumented immigrants buy health insurance through “Covered California”, the state’s Affordable Care Act health program.
