Soda Tax Bill Targets Diabetes, Obesity

Democratic Assemblymember Richard Bloom is pushing legislation to tax sugar-sweetened beverages. The measure would impose a two cent per ounce tax on sugary drinks in order to fund health and nutrition programs, especially in communities of color that bear the brunt of the diabetes crisis. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
