The Fresno Unified School District has come under scrutiny recently due to ongoing scandals and years of low academic performance. After several successful school board recall campaigns in the Valley, teachers, parents, and students gathered in a town hall meeting this week to discuss how to improve education. The Fresno Teachers Association has already held three “Stand with Students” meetings to discuss how the new school funding should be spent. However, the district has rejected the proposals that the community has made. Vic Bedoian reports from Fresno.
