CSU Faculty Votes to Authorize Strike

Faculty members at the California State University system have overwhelmingly voted to authorize a strike. The vote comes after negotiations between the union and management reached an impasse over salaries. The faculty union is asking for a 5 per cent raise, to make up ground after years of stagnant wages. CSU management is offering a 2 per cent wage increase. Christopher Martinez files this report.
