In a new plan that he's calling the most aggressive by any government in North America, Governor Jerry Brown issued an executive order this morning to cut greenhouse gas emissions to 40 percent below 1990 levels within the next 15 years. California is set to reach 1990 levels by 2020 under an earlier target. The Governor discussed his climate action at an appearance at the Milken Institute Global Conference in Beverly Hills in the afternoon. Pacifica's Dan Fritz files this report from Los Angeles.
