On Thursday night, around 150 people gathered for a vigil to honor the victims of Tuesday’s Chapel Hill shooting. Three young muslims, Deah Barakat, Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, and Razan Abu-Salah were shot by Craig Hicks, supposedly due to a dispute over a parking space. Many believe that this was a hate crime. In San Francisco’s Union Square, volunteers handed out white candles to the crowd. The participants stood in a circle, huddled around tea lights that spelled out the victims' initials.
