California Attorney General Kamala Harris has announced she’s running for the Senate seat that opened up when Senator Barbara Boxer announced she wouldn’t run for re-election. Harris' announcement makes her an instant front-runner, but there’s a lengthy list of other Democrats and Republicans who are considering a run for Senate and may now have to speed up their decisions.
