LA City Council Gives Final Approval To Hotel Worker Minimum Wage, Opponents Threaten To Sue

The Los Angeles City Council has given final approval to a minimum wage hike for thousands of hotel workers in the city. Hotels with 300 or more rooms will need to pay at least 15-dollars 37-cents an hour starting July first. Hotels with at least 150 rooms will have to comply starting July 2016. After the final vote, hotel industry leaders threatened to sue over the minimum wage ordinance. Pacifica's Dan Fritz reports from Los Angeles.
