"Riff Raff" Plan Mass Bike Ride Through San Marino

A group of East Los Angeles cyclists are organizing a bike ride through San Marino, one of LA's most exclusive enclaves. This after some residents complained that proposed city projects would bring in so-called undesirables from neighboring communities. A recent San Marino City Council meeting was rife with class chauvinism and comments weary of outsiders and so-called riff raff. Members of the Eastside Bike Club are asking riders across the city to join them in the Riff Raff Ride Into San Marino early next month. Organizers say it's a symbolic gathering meant to unite El Sereno and San Marino, neighboring communities that are worlds apart. Ernesto Arce reports.
