Local Officials Urge State Assembly Not to Kill Smart Phone Kill Switch Bill

Bay Area elected officials and police chiefs held a press conference today calling on the state assembly to pass a smart phone "kill switch" bill. The bill, introduced by State Senator Mark Leno of San Francisco and already passed by the Senate, would require technology on smart phones sold in the state that could disable the phone remotely if it was stolen. Marissa Ortega-Welch reports from the steps of Oakland City Hall.
