Los Angeles County officials discovered an estimated 70,000 dead fish washed ashore a Marina Del Rey beach on Saturday morning.
Local scientists say the incident isn’t directly linked to global climate change although it’s likely the result of lower oxygen levels in the water due to warmer temperatures.
