New Report Details Alarming Growth In Poverty In Southern California

Poverty in Southern California is growing at an alarming rate, outpacing population growth by about three times. That's according to a new report issued today by SCAG, the Southern California Association of Governments. Of particular concern to SCAG researchers is the revelation that one in four children in Southern California is living below the federal poverty line. Pacifica's Dan Fritz reports from Los Angeles.
