Dozens of Walmart workers in the Southland have spent two days on strike, engaging in peaceful protests Wednesday at Paramount and Pico Rivera stores, and today at Chinatown and Long Beach Walmarts. They're appealing to President Obama for help in their struggle for better wages and working conditions from the largest retailer in the world.
