Lawmakerws Question Utilities Safety Practices

State lawmakers are taking a hard look at the California Public Utilities Commission, three years after the fatal gas pipeline explosion in San Bruno. Public Utilities Commission experts have put out disagreeing opinions about whether gas pipelines beneath San Carlos are safe. A Senate subcommittee held a hearing in San Francisco on improving over-sight at the California Public Utilities Commission. Christopher Martinez reports.
