California's long-delayed water bond was the subject of a gathering of state lawmakers in the Coachella Valley today. The multi-billion dollar bond is scheduled to be on the November 2014 ballot, though it's been delayed twice before. Lawmakers held a hearing in the city of Indio to hear from locals about their water situation, especially concerns about the nearby Salton Sea. Pacifica's Dan Fritz reports from Southern California.
