BART trains are running again, after unions and management reached a tentative agreement on a new contract. Union members could vote on whether to accept the new contract later this week or next week, with a BART Board vote to follow. Meanwhile, Republican lawmakers are renewing their calls for legislation to ban BART strikes, and they’re planning to expand their proposal to include all public transit workers.
