BART Negotiations Go Down to the Wire

BART workers are saying management pulled the rug out of negotiations by presenting and then withdrawing a contract proposal Wednesday night. Management says it was a misunderstanding caused by a mediator’s mistake. The disagreement comes as BART management signs contracts for buses during a potential work stoppage that could shut down the Bay Area Rapid Transit system as soon as Friday morning. Christopher Martinez reports.
