State Agencies Grapple with Hunger in California

The California State Board of Food and Agriculture held its meeting in Fresno Tuesday to focus attention on the critical issue of hunger in the state, and especially in the Central Valley. The board advises the Governor on issues concerning food production and consumption. The meeting brought state officials together with food and hunger experts to find better ways to combat the food insecurity that is prevalent, even in agriculturally rich regions.
