State lawmakers are considering two measures to regulate “unmanned aircraft systems,” or drones. Tuesday morning, the Assembly Public Safety Committee held an informational hearing to air some of the issues around drones, with drone supporters talking about potential benefits, and civil liberties advocates warning about potential abuses like warrantless mass surveillance.
