Public outrage continues to grow in a fatal officer involved shooting. In this instance, it wasn’t a person who was killed. It was a 2 year-old Rottweiler who appeared to come to his owner’s defense as the man was being arrested by Hawthorne Police.
Residents, police critics, and a growing international chorus says police were heavy-handed and shouldn’t have opened fire on the dog.
