Officials Delay New Bay Bridge Span

The scheduled opening of the new Oakland – San Francisco Bay Bridge span has been delayed until mid-December at the earliest. The replacement for the earthquake-damaged Bay Bridge span was delayed after the failure of 32 bolts that are part of the east pier retrofit. The Toll Bridge Program Oversight Committee briefed lawmakers in Sacramento. Christopher Martinez reports from the State Capitol.
