Immigrants Sit-In for Trust Act

Undocumented immigrants staged a sit-in at the Governor’s office in Sacramento, minutes after a State Senate hearing on a bill to limit police co-operation with immigration officials. The Senate Public Safety Committee approved the “TRUST Act”, but the activists fear Governor Jerry Brown could veto the measure if it passes, as he did with a similar measure last year. Christopher Martinez reports from the State Capitol.
