BART and Unions Continue Negotiations

Bay Area Rapid Transit management and its largest unions, SEIU Local 10-21 and ATU Local 15-55, are working to negotiate a new contract before their extended deadline of August 4th. After BART and the unions were not able to come to an agreement by their original deadline, BART workers went on strike for four days in early July. Meanwhile, California lawmakers are working to address larger issues within BART. Arielle Zionts has more:
